Bloomington residents looking to get information on remodeling, landscaping and other ways to improve their homes should attend the Bloomington Home Improvement Fair sponsored by the City of Bloomington. The event will be held Saturday, February 20, 2016, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Bloomington Civic Plaza.
There will a number of vendors at the Bloomington Home Improvement Fair and will include the following and much more.
- 13 How-to seminars for your remodeling projects.
- Keynote speaker Craig Plekkenpol of Plekkenpol Builders at noon.
- More than 60 exhibitors will take part in the fair.
- Bloomington United For Youth (link is external) will fundraise with food and refreshments.
- City of Bloomington staff will be on hand to answer questions.
- Art in the Home mini-mart sale in the Atrium.
- Reptile and Amphibian Open House from the Richardson Nature Center (10:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m.)
- Tips to reduce your energy use and save money.
- Kids’ workshop by Home Depot throughout the day.
- Germ City from Bloomington’s Environmental Health will show proper hand washing with “germs” that glow under black lights.
- HRA Home Loan Programs seminar will provide details on how to improve and maintain your home.
